Hello,
You weren’t born to live in a loop.
Wake. Work. Repeat.
Somewhere in between life you forgot what you wanted.
This newsletter is all about lifestyle design, the conscious, courageous act of reclaiming your time, your energy, and your choices. It’s a roadmap for breaking free from survival mode and building a life that feels fully yours.
If something inside you has been whispering “this isn’t it”… this is your invitation to listen.
I used to think success meant ticking every box.
☑️ The job.
☑️ The title.
☑️ The income bracket.
But what happens one day when you stop and look around and find yourself thinking:
“I’ve built a life I no longer feel at home in.”
Everything surely would fine from the outside, but inside… a huge disconnect.
That’s the thing no one tells you, you can follow all the rules and still end up somewhere that doesn’t feel right.
Designing your lifestyle isn’t about luxury or aesthetics. It’s about courage to question what’s not working, to break cycles, and to rewrite the script.
It takes guts to step away from what’s expected in pursuit of what’s aligned.
But, it is possible and it starts with one brave choice: to take your power back.
Let’s strip it back:
Lifestyle design is conscious living. It’s not about aesthetics, it’s about alignment.
It’s asking yourself:
What does freedom look like to me?
Where am I self-sabotaging by staying stuck in “shoulds”?
If I could rebuild from scratch, what would I change?
The key isn’t a new planner or productivity hack.
The key is courage.
Courage to face your mental cages.
Courage to say no, and mean it.
Courage to choose you, again and again.
Most people stay where they are because they’ve confused safety with satisfaction.
Lifestyle design reminds us: comfort zones aren’t freedom, they’re fences.
“Freedom isn’t found, it’s built. And it starts from the inside out.”
Ask: What am I still saying yes to that’s keeping me stuck?
Before you build anything new, you need to confront what’s still holding you. For years, I was making decisions based on fear. Fear of letting others down, fear of losing momentum, fear of starting again. But freedom requires honesty. This is about auditing the invisible walls you’ve built: habits, expectations, roles you no longer fit into.
Realign your calendar, your commitments, and your values.
That’s where freedom begins.
Ask: Who am I when no one’s watching?
When I burnt out in a “successful” life that didn’t feel like mine, I had to strip everything back.
Lifestyle design isn’t just about external changes, it’s a full recalibration of identity. You have to get painfully clear on what success actually means to you, not what the world taught you to chase.
You can’t build a life that fits until you know who you are becoming.
Ask: Does this choice bring me closer to the life I actually want?
Every yes costs something. If it’s not aligned with your bigger vision, it’s just a distraction dressed up as opportunity. The Purpose Filter helps you say no more often, with confidence, because you’ve done the work to know what’s worth protecting.
Build a lifestyle around priorities, not pressure.
Ask: What can I build, change or simplify in the next 90 days?
Once you’ve cleared space and defined direction, you need momentum. Too many people get stuck waiting for the “perfect” moment. I teach lifestyle design in sprints: 90-day cycles of focused change. Not perfection. Not a 10-year plan. Just one intentional season.
Create change fast, in focused bursts. Then adapt and evolve.
Ask: Who’s holding me to my highest standards?
Change doesn’t stick without structure. When I started designing my life, I realised motivation fades, but systems and people keep you moving. You need someone who sees your vision, reminds you who you are when you forget, and isn’t afraid to call you forward.
Success is personal, but it’s not meant to be solo.
Choose just one of these five areas and go deep this week.
Which one is your missing piece right now?
Don’t try to do it all, designing your life is a practice, not a performance.
This week, I am giving you access to my Lifestyle Design Formula, a full step-by-step guide to:
☑️Get clear on who you really are (not who the world told you to be)
☑️Rewire negative thought patterns and self-sabotaging habits
☑️Reclaim your motivation and map your own version of success
☑️Build a lifestyle around joy, not just duty
You’ll learn how to:
🎯Break free from mental cages
🎯Rediscover your identity
🎯Love yourself enough to redesign your reality
Your future self will thank you.
This one’s for anyone feeling stuck in the same cycles. Wiest breaks down how self-sabotage is often just unhealed trauma in disguise, and how we can turn our biggest blockages into breakthroughs.
It’s a perfect companion to the Lifestyle Design Formula, because before you can design a new life, you have to get honest about what’s been holding you back. This book doesn’t demand you be perfect, it invites you to become aware. To pause, reflect, and rebuild with intention.
Less “fix yourself” energy.
More “meet yourself with grace and rise.”
Key Takeaway:
Your new life is going to cost you your old one.
Your life doesn’t need to look impressive.
It needs to feel like home.
So if today you feel like you're behind, or too late, or too broken, hear this:
You are allowed to change direction.
You are allowed to want more.
You are allowed to build a life that feels good on the inside, even if no one claps for it.
Remember, the journey to designing your life is not about perfection or rushing to the finish line.
It’s about showing up for yourself each day with intention, kindness, and courage.
Here’s to the power you hold, the freedom you’re creating, and the future you are designing, one brave choice at a time.
To your unstoppable success,
Writer, The Success Method
